APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH

I could not have a blog and not mention the fact that April is Autism Awareness month. I decided to get a head start and design my blog to reflect the fact that we are living with Autism every day. I have to tell you that Zach has come so far he will be eight in June and  4 years ago he just started talking.  My god!!! He is reading and doing math and making some friends!!! And is developing a sense of humor!!! And having actual conversations with us!!!! At the beginning I could not see us at this point!!! Like all families of children with autism I suppose we went through  a little bit of mourning for what was not going to be. And Now its more like what can we accomplish next???  Zach is a beautiful loving little boy who holds a special place in a whole bunch of peoples hearts!!! I am so proud of him. So for the rest of March and Some of April I dedicate our blog to Zach and Autism Awareness!!!! Please watch the video I made!!!
